Piazza Città di Lombardia, in Milan, is the largest covered square in Europe; it houses various activities including a post office, a nursery school, an auditorium, and several restaurants and cafes. Surrounded by the complex of Palazzo Lombardia, the piazza has a ogival shape covering a surface area of approx. 4,000 m2, covered by a modular structure in EFTE (Ethylene tetrafluoroethylene), that is 32m high. The space can host over 3,000 people and is regularly used for events and exhibitions of all type.
