The Beverly Pepper Park in Todi (PG) is the first single-theme contemporary sculpture in Umbria and the first dedicated to the American artist in the world. Immersed in the greenery of the medieval city walls that connect the Temple di Santa Maria della Consolazione with the old town centre, the park has a display route of 20 sculptures, each one designed, restored for the purpose and donated by the artist. These are monumental works created with various materials (iron, stainless steel, stone) that depict the career of the American artist from 1960 to 2000. Connecting two key location in the city, the Park offers the opportunity to fully enjoy the interaction between works of art, landscape, monuments and urban context. Beverly Pepper also designed sculpture benches for the Park, called "lunette", using a local stone from the quarries of Lake Trasimeno. The lunette are positioned in strategic areas offering rest and a view over the landscape.
