In the heart of the small town of Fondo is the Rio Sass Canyon, a gorge carved out by the Rio Sass waterway which runs through the town, and can be explored along cantilevered walkways and steps. As well as the various phenomena left behind in the rock by the flow of the water, with all its twists and turns, visitors will notice the picturesque flora: red and green seaweed, moss and ferns.
As well as the Rio Sass, the Non Valley is also home to the Novella River Park, which winds through the gorge formed by the river of the same name, running through the municipalities of Cloz, Romallo and Dambel.
The Novella River Park non-profit organisation advertises the Park and its environmental and landscape beauties, cultural and historical heritage, promoting nature tourism.
