Opened in 2005, this thermal spa has one of the most interesting buildings in the center of Merano. Behind the elegant façade with purist architecture designed by Matteo Thun, the Merano Thermal Baths find balance between tradition and modern living, but also economics and ecology.
The focal point of the facilities is the cube-shaped structure made of metal and glass, which is where the pools are located. Offering a breathtaking view of the nearby mountains and extensive park, the facilities include several pools and saunas, along with a medical spa, fitness center, grounds extending 50,000 m² and an outdoor café. This place was designed with relaxation and wellbeing in mind, but also as a center for medical treatments and the prevention of various ailments.
