A place for intellectuals that was one of the most visited in Milan during the 19th century, today Villa Litta is home to an important library belonging to the city. The villa is located in the park of the same name. It frequently hosted important artists and intellectuals, including none other than Alessandro Manzoni. The Mads’ Garden, despite being very short, shows off both the interiors and exteriors of the villa. Aside from the fact that it promotes an intriguing location in Milan, this short experience demonstrates the ability of an historical context to spawn original narratives.
