Siani writes local crime stories for the Mattino di Torre Annunziata newspaper as an unlicensed journalist, with most of the story taking place in Torre Annunziata itself. It is a desolate place, completely abandoned by the State with the odd rare exception. Indeed, here the institutions are in cahoots with local criminal organisations, and this is what our young journalist investigates.
