FolleMente is a romantic comedy by Paolo Genovese that reveals the thoughts of the main characters (Edoardo Leo and Pilar Fogliati) to show the mysterious mechanisms that control our behaviour.
Shot over seven weeks in autumn 2024 in Rome, the film boasts some exceptional locations such as Villa Ada and the Coppedè district. Other locations included: via di Tor Fiorenza, piazza Verbano, Prato della Signora. This provides the setting for the few exterior shots; most of the film takes place in Lara's (Pilar Fogliati) apartment, while she is hosting a romantic dinner, where the personalities that inhabit her mind and that of her guest Piero (Edoardo Leo) reign supreme, creating unpredictable and amusing interludes.
