Gianni Di Gregorio's film Come ti muovi, sbagli uses a comedic tone to explore family dynamics: the story begins when Sofia (Greta Scarano), in the midst of a marital crisis, lands on her professor father (Gianni Di Gregorio), disrupting his peace, with her two cumbersome children.
Locations for the film included Rome and several municipalities in Tuscany and Abruzzo. In Sansepolcro (Arezzo), these included places in the historic centre and the civic museum, with a focus on Piero della Francesca's famous "Resurrection". Other locations included the L'Aquila area, primarily Castel di Sangro, also Alfedena and Rocca Pia. The five weeks of filming (November-December 2024) used a crew of 65.
The director dedicates his film to family and to love, the force that makes us do things we never thought we could, making us both diligent ants but also epic heroines and heroes.

Does avoiding all the hassles of daily life, shielding from every nuisance, make a person happy? In his seventies, the professor has finally found peace of mind: a beautiful home, a decent pension, friends to joke with, a woman to spend time with. He devotes himself only to pleasant things. His life is turned upside down by the arrival of his daughter in marital crisis and his two overbearing grandchildren. They bring new worries and anxieties, but also new relationships. This sparks an adventure into the love lives of others and his own which helps him understand that love is always worth living, even if it brings tribulation, sacrifice and suffering. This is a film that reflects on love and the inexorable instinct of humans to blend their own destiny with that of others, with all that can come from it: hardship and also joy, and the feeling of having truly lived.
