Qualcosa di Lilla, a Rai film directed by Isabella Leoni, starring Federica Pala, Alessandro Terzigni, Raffaela Rea, and Margherita Buoncristiani, is set in the world of teenagers, with all the problems inherent to that setting, the tricky relationships with classmates and parents, and the risk that emotional fragility caused by a complicated moment in life could lead to a pathology or addiction.
Fifteen-year-old Nicole (Federica Pala) has a new friend with whom she believes she has something in common. Luce (Margherita Buoncristiani) has always suffered from bulimia, the same abyss that is swallowing Nicole without anyone noticing.
This story is set and filmed in a suburban, yet seemingly orderly, Rome, a place where danger isn't obvious, although it is just around the corner, and where appearances, and prejudices can cloud one's thoughts. Sequences set at school and outdoors feature Terenzio Mamiani High School on Viale delle Milizie (setting for Massimiliano Bruno's comedy 2 cuori e 2 capanne with Edoardo Leo and Claudia Pandolfi). Other recognizable exteriors include the bridge connecting the Flaminio and Della Vittoria districts, Ponte della Musica Armando Trovajoli, near the Parco della Musica Auditorium. Luce, Nicole's wealthy friend, lives in a house created at Villa Gianni, Colle Prenestino.
Five weeks of filming took place in October 2025.

Master Five, Rai Fiction
Fifteen-year-old Nicole is passionate about maths and loves metal detecting for ancient coins with her father. She lives in the suburbs with her mother, a personal trainer, with whom she has a conflictual relationship, like all teenagers – or almost all of them.
Her mother would like her to be more mature, more "grown up", but Nicole is firmly anchored to childhood, thanks in part to her special relationship with her father, a policeman, whom she sees every weekend. She is still adjusting to the new life created by her parents’ recent separation.
Nicole's life changes when Luce joins her class. As charismatic as she is passionate, Luce embodies all the discomfort of today's teenagers. She drags Nicole into a world of excess, where everything is pushed to the max, where every emotion must be absolute.
Luce has suffered from bulimia since she was little; it seems as if the illness is part of her, one of her many characteristics, nothing to be afraid of. Nicole slips into the illness as one slips into adulthood, without realizing: a disease of the mind rather than the body, almost a generational stigma, a way to survive the pressures of society.
Nicole becomes ill, but no one notices, because her body doesn't change with her. It is only after Luce dies from cardiac arrest that her parents realize their daughter has fallen into an abyss. An abyss that is much darker and more complex than they could ever have imagined.
